Kankaria Lake ©Mahargh Shah    Kankaria Lakeis the second largest lake in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is located in the south-eastern part of the city, in the Maninagar area. It was completed in 1451 during the reign of Sultan Qutb-ud-Din Ahmad Shah II though its origin is placed in the Chaulukya period sometimes. A lakefront is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities. The lakefront was revamped in 2008. Kankaria Carnival is a week-long festival held here in the last week of December. Many cultural, art, and social activities are organised during the carnival. ભગવાનનો માણસ કોઇપણ તેને પૂછે એટલે તેનો એક જ જવાબ હાજર હોય – દુનિયામાં સૌથી સુખી માણસ હું જ છું , મારૂં નામ મનસુખ ... મનથી જ સુખી . દુ;ખ ઠુકડું આવવાની હિંમત પણ ના કરે ...! અને મારા ઘેરથી આનંદી , પછી શું દુ:ખ હોય ...! દુ;ખ લાખ પ્રયત્ન કરે તો પણ મારી નજીક પણ ના ફરકી શકે . બહુ ફિલોસોફીભરી વાત હતી તેની . દુ:ખ અને સુખનું મૂળ કારણ જ મન છે . મન ચંગા તો કથરોટમાં ગંગા . માણસ મનથી નક્કી કરે કે હું સુખી છું તો સુખી . પણ માણસ અઢળક સુખોમાં આળોટતો હોય , બંગલા ,ગાડી અને છત્તરપલંગે પોઢતો હોય પણ તેના મનમાં જો એમ થઇ જાય કે હું દુ:ખી છું , તો અઢળક સંપત્તિ ,બંગલા , ગાડી , એ કશું ય તેને સુખ આપી શકે નહીં . આ મનસુખ તો પહેલેથી જ મનમોજી, મનનું ધાર્યું કરનારો,આખી દુનિયાને પડતી મૂકી માત્ર મનને શરણે જ જનારો , પછી દુ:ખી ક્યાંથી હોય ?! લોકો દુ:ખી કરવા ઇચ્છે તો પણ દુ:ખી ના થાય ...! પોઝીટીવ થીન્કીંગ –સકારાત્મક વિચારસરણી જ ધરાવનારો ... ખોટું થયું હોય તો પણ તેમાંથી સારી અને સાચી બાબત જ શોધી કાઢે અને સુખી થઇ જાય ...! ખરાબ બાબત પડતી મૂકી દે ...! મનસુખની એક બહેન હતી ,તેનો સબંધ ક્યાંય થતો નહોતો , ઉંમર વધતી જતી ...
